Easiest 1-Bowl Classic Waffles (Oil-Free)
Makes 4 Waffles
Made in just 15 minutes, these crispy, fluffy, and buttery classic waffles will become your new favorite breakfast! Plus, they pair perfectly with any toppings!

Ingredients
Dry Ingredients:
1 cup white flour
¼ tsp salt
½ tbsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Wet Ingredients:
¼ cup aquafaba (chickpea liquid)
¼ cup applesauce
¼ cup white sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
¼ cup non-dairy milk, optional for a thinner batter

Instructions
Preheat a non-stick waffle iron according to manufacturer's directions, no greasing necessary!
In a large bowl, whisk together dry ingredients. Mix in wet ingredients, making sure batter has minimal lumps.
Using a standard ice cream scoop, pour batter onto waffle iron and cook according to manufacturer's directions. Serve warm with add-ons of choice.
Notes
If you use whole wheat flour, the waffles may be slightly less fluffy, but equally as delicious!
I always use unsweetened applesauce, but sweetened works fine.
For a refined sugar free version, opt for coconut sugar!
If you don't have a non-stick waffle iron, don't worry, a little oil or cooking spray will work just as well!
Some toppings that go well with these waffles: dairy-free yogurt, vegan chocolate chips, chocolate syrup (Hershey's brand is vegan), fresh fruit, and maple or agave syrup.
