Creamiest Baked Mac and Cheese
Makes 3 Servings
Cheesy, buttery, and loaded with hidden veggies, this baked mac and cheese is the perfect meal for kids and adults alike!

Ingredients
Topping:
½ cup bread crumbs
1 tbsp melted butter
Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, lightly grease an 8x8 baking pan and set aside.
Make cheese sauce, set aside.
Cook pasta according to package directions, transfer to a large bowl and fold in cheese sauce, making sure pasta is thoroughly coated. Transfer to baking pan.
Pour bread crumbs into a small bowl and fold in melted butter (+ salt and pepper if necessary). Press them into an even layer over the top of the mac and cheese.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until top is golden brown. Serve warm.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in refrigerator for up to 3 days or freezer for up to a month. To reheat, I recommend popping this into the oven for a few minutes.
Notes
If you would rather make bread crumbs, add 2 slices of any bread (toasted or not) to a blender or food processor and pulse into crumbs.
